Infant Care

We believe strongly that every child is unique and precious. We strive to give every child the skills they need to be successful learners and future citizens. We believe that true authentic learning begins from the moment that a child enters this world.  We provide infants and young children with stable routines and daily activities that stimulate their rapid growth and promote their individual development.  Our curriculum is based on years of experience, sound research and a combination of several developmental models.  We believe this approach is what mirrors the natural learning and development of young minds.

Infant Daily Rhythm

Infants arrive and are greeted by a caring and loving adult.

Infants play in our infant only playroom or enjoy time watching and interacting with older children in our main play areas.  Activities include, reading, singing, dancing, sensory activities, music, tummy time, gross motor movement activities and problem solving activities.

Infants are fed on their own schedule. They are changed at least every 2 hours and more if needed. They are allowed to sleep when they are tired and for as long as their bodies need to be rested. A quiet rest area is provided for the infants to sleep safely and peacefully.

As infants awake from their rest times they are cuddled and read with, played with and given more opportunities to practice problem solving and gross motor activities.

Language Learning

Infants in our program have constant access to language learning in both their native language and in Spanish. Infants will have two constant caregivers one that will always model English and one who will always model Spanish. The caregiver reads, talks, sings and interacts with the infant in the caregivers native language. This will give infant the chance to develop the brain pathways at an early age, facilitating language learning. Watch this short video on the impact of early exposure to second language learning for infants.

We believe that this early language learning is vital to the development of young minds and to global citizens.
